Frizgility is a rapid-fire, 60-second hybrid game that tests a dog’s ability to shift gears instantly between handling physical obstacles and tracking a flying disc.
How Frizgility Works:
- The Agility Runway:
The field features a mini agility course consisting of 3 to 5 obstacles (typically a combination of agility tunnels and lightweight hurdles).
- The Back-and-Forth Flow:
The dog must first successfully navigate the sequence of obstacles moving away from the handler. Once they clear the final obstacle, they enter the "Catch Zone."
- The Big Throw:
The moment the dog emerges from the obstacles, the handler launches a disc (or rolls it along the ground). The dog must track it down and make a successful catch to score major points.
- The Return Trip:
After making the catch, the dog sprints back to the handler, completely re-running the same obstacles in reverse, drops the disc, and prepares to do it all over again.
Teams try to complete as many full "laps" as possible before the 60-second buzzer sounds.
- Safety First:
To protect the dogs' teeth and jaws, they are
not allowed to carry the disc in their mouth
while jumping or running through the tunnels.
They must drop the disc at the starting line before tackling the obstacles again!
- The Sweet Spot Finish:
If the handler, the dog, and the disc are all back inside the central "Sweet Spot" grid when time expires, they pocket a crisp 10-point buzzer-beater bonus.

Frizgility is an incredible test of drive and mental focus. It is mesmerizing to watch a dog blast through a tunnel at Mach 1, immediately snap their attention to the sky to track a flying disc, and then instantly switch back into "agility mode" to conquer the hurdles on the way back.
