How 4Way Play Works:
- The 60-Second Blitz:
Teams have exactly one minute to rack up as many points as possible using four discs.
- The "Sweet Spot":
The human handler must stand inside a central grid called the "Sweet Spot." Every single throw must be released from this zone.
- Clearing the Quad:
The field is mapped out into four distinct, numbered scoring zones. The catch? A team can only score points from a specific zone once
per round. To unlock them again, the dog must successfully catch a disc in all four zones—a feat known as "clearing the quad." Once cleared, the grid resets, and the point-scoring frenzy starts all over again!
- Rollers Welcome:
It’s not just for airborne acrobats! Ground rollers count too, making this an inclusive sport where young pups, beginners, and seasoned distance champions can all excel.
- The Stick-the-Landing Bonus:
If the handler, the dog, and at least one disc are all back inside the Sweet Spot when the final buzzer sounds, they score a sweet 2-point buzzer-beater bonus!
